GB0921 Portable Gas Detector: Sensitive to flammable gas, it can detect almost all combustible gases, including natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, liquefied natural gas, coal gas, methane, propane, benzene, acetylene, fuel (including gasoline or kerosene), sewer gas, Alcohol (methanol, ethanol), toluene, pentane, hexane, gas oil, kerosene, etc.
Open the battery cover that on the back of the product with your phillips screwdriver (the screwdriver is not included in the package), and then put the enclosed 4 AA batteries in it. (Note: Please pay attention to the positive(+) and negative(-) poles when put it in.)
After installing the battery, close the cover and screw on the screws to prevent the battery from slipping off during the operation and delaying the operation time. It can also prevent children from removing the battery and losing it.
Turn on the switch. The buzzer may sound when the switch is just turned on. At this time, you only need to wait for a while or turn the sensitivity dial counterclockwise to reduce the sensitivity until there's no sound, then you can properly check gas normally.(Attention! If you plan not to use it for a long time, please take out the battery and store it separately.)
